Beaver's Bend

On Wednesday June 15th we headed on a Father's Day Vacay to Oklahoma!! We were all super excited to go to Beaver's Bend State Park. We loaded up the motor home and headed north for our first camping adventure!

This is how WE camp!!

The state park is in Broken Bow, OK and it was so pretty!! We camped right on the river. Anna even came up to join us, she has become like a part of our fam. :) We had such fun we spent alot of time on the lake, which is just beautiful!!

We explored the park with a fun train ride!

During the train ride the conductor asked us to check our ticket stubs for a number he drew and, we WON a bag of cotton candy. HA!! Just what we needed another one!

We all tried our hand at trout fishing. Barrett and Ryan we obviously a little more experienced than Jack and I, but we all caught trout. It was really fun!!

We roasted marshmallows almost every night and feed our little friends the raccoons that visited us.

The Nance and Anderson families were also there and we had a Yummy dinner with all of them one night! Here are all the kiddos at dinner, such a sweet group.
It was a great first "camping trip". We will most definitely go back to Beaver's Bend, it was wonderful! We made a ton of great memories!
