Texans Tournament
Last Saturday the Texans were invited to play in a machine pitch tournament in Hawkins. It was a short notice and some of our team had conflicts and couldn't play. We asked a few friends from other teams to join us so we would have a full team....so we were a hodge podge from Lindale...but ready to play.
Ready for the big day!! Daddy and his boys!!
Go big or go home right.....we decided since it was an all day thing we would be prepared.
We took a break and grilled some hotdogs and had a fun lunch under the tent.
The boys had a blast playing around in the dirt.... and playing ball on an empty field in between games.

Some of our great Moms.....
And Anna...who corrals Jack during the games!!
Our boys ready for game 2......
The second game we played much better!! The boys were all hitting awesome and we were making some great plays on the field. The only problem was that the umpire had it OUT for us!! Even people from other teams, not with us were heckling him for his ABSURD calls...it was pitiful!! Our boys got behind by like 5 runs or so and we came BACK with some great hits!! In the end bad calls were our nemesis and we ended up losing that game to. BUT.....our boys played so great...we were SO proud!!
B-man on deck....
After the tournament was over we found out that the 1st and 2nd place winners of the whole tournament were the two teams that we played first!! So in the big scheme of things....we played even better than we thought we did!!!
A special thanks to Miles, Jake, Ryan and Josh who were Texans for the day... You boys played great and can join us anytime!!
It was another FUN day of baseball!!!
Texans Game 3
The Texans had our 3rd game on Friday the 13th....bad luck to some...but not to us!! Our boys had their first WIN of the season!!
Handsome buddies....ready to PLAY!!
Love this boy....he makes me SO proud!!!And this little one just melts my heart!!
I didn't take many action shots that night...I was to busy cheering :) The boys brought their game faces to this game and decided they were ready to play!! We had fun and all the boys played great!! What a great night to be a Texan!!
Texans Game 2
On April 5th the Texas had our 2nd game. I just love baseball season....I mean I seriously NEVER thought this would be the case...but I admit it, I DO!! I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that it's what my boys love to do :) I am such a proud Mom watching them!
Ready to play!
Sweet Jack...patiently waiting for his turn.
Barrett had another great game... With a triple and a couple of RBI base hits! Way to play B!!Our young team is still getting in the groove of things together....but each game we play better...and most importantly we are have a blast!! Go TEXANS!!
Good game boys!!
Easter weekend in Lufkin
We spent a fun filled Easter weekend in Lufkin. We drove the traveling home on wheels....which was nice because I was able to watch the Masters while being chauffeured there. We had a very busy couple of days planned.
Saturday morning....I attended a baby shower for my dear friend Katie. I can't wait to meet her sweet baby girl, and it was so fun to see all the girls. While I was at the shower the boys hung out at Nana's house playing baseball and working in the yard. Yeah...my boys consider yard work...fun. HA! Jack never fails to keep it interesting....while I was getting ready for the shower, Ryan had the boys take the dogs out for a walk. Of course, Jack had something else in mind. Next thing we know the boys are at the door soaking wet...and Barrett said Jack just jumped in the pool...but I saved him!! WHATTTT?!? I mean seriously....never a dull moment!! I am SO thankful that Barrett was there to help Jack out of the pool...the child thinks he can do anything!! CRAZY!!!
Out next event of the day was our sweet Mary Michael's 3rd Birthday party!!!
We had a great time celebrating Mim's bday and watching the Masters...of course!! It was a perfect celebration for our little princess!!
On Saturday night Nana, Kolby and PawPaw kept the boys while Ryan and I celebrated at another bday party. My Uncle Jim had his 60th birthday bash!! Julie and Kathy did a great job with his party....it was a perfect night outside. I somehow didn't take a single picture, but it was a great time!
We woke up Sunday for a beautiful Easter day to celebrate to that our Lord is Risen!! The boys were SO excited to see that the Easter bunny did in fact find them in the motor home!
They had some crazy bedheads!!
I had made the comment that I needed one of these local political signs....and look what I walked out to find......Love it, Thanks Kolby!
While I was cooking some of our Easter dinner... Jack was being unusually quiet...I found him "on the phone". I asked him who he was talking to, on the sleep number remote...looking for votes I guess.
My precious little bunnies!!
Cousins!! As you can see they were REALLY loving all the pics!
We FINALLY got a few decent family pictures.....
After lunch it was time for the Egg Hunt!! I think out of the 200 some odd eggs...the kids found all but 9. Not to shabby!
Golden Egg!!
Jack decided to take another swim...this time supervised...with his float on!
This is really random...but I discovered or rather tried deviled eggs for the first time, and WOW I wish I hadn't. I am OBsessed!! We had a wonderful day visiting with family and watching the Masters. Congrats Bubba!! What a great Easter weekend!

Jack's MDO egg hunt
Last Thursday Jack had his egg hunt at MDO. Here is my precious little man before school!
And he's off!!! Go get em' Jack!
He had so much fun and it cracked me up how he only wanted the baseball eggs and wouldn't touch the pink or purple eggs. So funny.
LOVE this boy to pieces!!
