On Saturday May 19th it was RODEO time in Texas. The dealership was sponsoring a rodeo in a local small town....my boys LOVE a Rodeo!! Jack was especially excited because he was going to "wide a sheep", HA!! He rode for the first time last year here in Lindale, when he was the ripe old age of 2!! This year he was a little more prepared, he had his vest and spurs...and was ready to ride!!
My handsome Barrett...he has done this sheep thing before also, but he is over it now:)
PawPaw, Kolby and Miranda Kobly's girlfriend were in town to spend the weekend with us. How cute are they!
I love this picture...look a number, he looks like a real cowboy!!
And here we go! As you can see....he started off on the side of the sheep so I knew the ride would be short! The hat flew off immediately!!
And....he's down!! Then the sheep proceeds to trample my baby!! AHHHHH!!
No worries! He was just fine! He went over to PawPaw to watch the other riders. Such a tough little man.
After a few events...it was time for the calf scramble. Both boys ran out to the arena to chase cows and try to pull a ribbon off of it's tail.
Go Boys!!!
Sweet Jack....he had a hard time keeping up with the big kids, but he was gonna give it his best!
The boys also got to ride in the arena and put out the barrels for the barrel racing.
We had a great time at the rodeo....I loved watching the boys! Yee Haw!!!!!
